Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney made his first appearance on campus Tuesday in Blackman Auditorium to lay out his plan to increase the availability of affordable housing in the Commonwealth.
The lack of affordable housing, which Romney said was equal with health care as the biggest problem threatening Mass., was the topic of a symposium organized by the Citizens’ Housing and Planning Association (CHAPA). The governor was the keynote speaker of the event.
“The number one reason that business leaders are leaving is because the cost of housing is so high in Massachusetts.
