The Latino/a American Student Organization has helped bring big name acts such as Ruben “Hurricane” Carter and Dave Chapelle to NU’s campus last year. To keep with that tradition they have recruited comedian Mike Epps from the movies “Next Friday,” “Friday After Next” and “All About the Benjamins” to come tickle our funny bone on Monday, May 12.
Epps comes highly recommended by LASO’s president Jorge Sanchez, who said that “if people liked Dave Chappelle last year, then they will definitely love Mike Epps this year.”
Tickets are currently on sale in Ell Hall at the box office for $5 . The event is co-sponsored by the Black Engineering Student Society (BESS) and Northeastern Black Student Assocation (NBSA).
