February 8 Sunday The Community Church of Boston will be hosting a Sunday forum lecture with Sergio Reyes called “The Other September 11: Reflect-ions on the Experience of Terrorism Thirty Years After the Military Coup in Chile.” The lecture will begin at 10:45 a.m. in Lothrop Auditorium at 565 Boylston St. in Copley Square. Reyes is currently a musician and educator. He was a student leader in Chile, imprisoned and tortured by the regime of Augusto Pinochet. Upcoming NU’s Department of Theater presents “Sweet Bird of Youth” by Tennessee Williams at the Studio Theatre on the first floor of the Curry Student Center. Shows begin at 8 p.m. The facility is wheelchair accessible. Tickets are $10 on Wednesdays and Thursdays and $13 on Fridays and Saturdays. Ongoing MATCH-UP Interfaith Volunteers present “Unlikely Friendships,” a photojournalism exhibition launching at the Boston Public Library and featuring black and white portraits complemented by interviews with the subjects. “Unlikely Friend-ships” will be at the Boston Public Library, 700 Boylston St., in the Boston Room from Feb. 5 to Feb. 27.
