The Huskies have played well to start its CAA schedule, going 2-2 with wins against Towson University and at University of North Carolina at Wilmington. The team’s only in-conference losses thus far have come against Elon, the 2017 CAA champions, and James Madison, which has a 4-0 conference record.

The night was filled with high energy and cheers erupting from the balcony of Blackman Auditorium as 15 dance groups performed at the annual Dance 4 Me competition Sunday to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. Proceeds from the show went to Americares, an organization that helps those affected by poverty and disaster by providing health-focused relief.
Although the concert will be sprinkled with Christmas carols, the majority of the music performed at Northeastern’s Madrigal Singers’ Winter Concert Dec. 9 will be complex choral pieces that the group has been rehearsing all semester.
Northeastern University Dance Company, a student-run dance company known as NUDANCO, will host their 15th Annual Winter Showcase Saturday in Blackman Auditorium.
The team could have easily overlooked their meet against the University of New Hampshire. With final exams and a busy training schedule, the team was tired and preoccupied.
Overcoming their fatigue and academic distractions, the Huskies stayed focused and were able to obtain a 160.5-139.5 win against UNH.
After losing 79-69 to Harvard University, Northeastern University women’s basketball head coach Kelly Cole praised her team’s grit, as they responded well to a 20-point deficit in the third quarter.
