The First Church of Somerville celebrates its fifth year of putting on the Drag Gospel Festival, and took place in Boston on Friday, Oct. 16 to raise funds for the LGBT Asylum Task Force.

Attracting thousands upon thousands of people, the annual New England tradition of the Head of the Charles Regatta kicked off on Friday, Oct. 17. On Saturday, Olympians Mahé Drysdale and Gevvie Stone won the championship men's and women's singles, respectively. The Charles River was abuzz with crowds waiting to see races of the 10,000 rowers at the Regatta.
