Women’s hockey battles back from two down, ties rival BU 3-3

The Northeastern women’s hockey team welcomed their cross-city rivals from Boston University to Matthews Arena Tuesday night for the 81st all-time meeting between the teams. The 3-3 draw was the teams’ first faceoff in 2018; the Huskies took the previous two contests earlier in the season by scores of 3-2 (OT) and 6-3.

The team could have easily overlooked their meet against the University of New Hampshire. With final exams and a busy training schedule, the team was tired and preoccupied. Overcoming their fatigue and academic distractions, the Huskies stayed focused and were able to obtain a 160.5-139.5 win against UNH.
