Thursday, Aug. 29, 9:08 a.m.

Facilities reported a man bathing in the fountain near the Egan Research Center. The man was last seen walking into Shillman Hall. Officers spoke to the man, who is not affiliated with the university. Officers gave him a pair of socks and boots and sent him on his way.

Saturday, Sept. 21, 1:36 p.m.

A student reported receiving a suspicious phone call from an unknown male claiming to work for the government. She stated the caller said she would be deported if she did not give him the proper information, and when she asked the caller for his credentials, the call was dropped. The student stated the caller knew her name, cell phone number, what country she was from and that she was a student.

Friday, Nov. 1, 1:26 a.m.

A student reported he was approached at the rear entrance to Stetson East by a man who shouted “Yo,” and then punched him in the face when he turned around. The suspect was described as wearing a fake beard and all camouflage. The victim was not in need of medical attention.

Saturday, Jan. 11, 10:58 p.m.

An Residential Advisor (RA) in White Hall reported someone wrote “F*** the Police” on a smoke free sign.

Monday, Jan. 13, 12:39 p.m.

A lecturer came to Northeastern University Public Safety Division (NUPD) headquarters to report he received a harassing email from someone who had harassed him 11 years ago. No threats were made, but there were inappropriate comments in the email.

Thursday, Jan. 16, 10:53 a.m.

A student reported someone took her underwear from the laundry room in West Village H. He tied them together in knots and wrote inappropriate messages on them.

Saturday, Feb. 15 at 11:45 a.m.

Officers received a report about white paint over the mouth of the statue in front of Shillman Hall. Officers requested the camera footage from the front of the building.

Sunday, Feb. 23, 3:34 p.m.

A student living on Westland Avenue reported his downstairs neighbor, a tall male in his mid-20s, was attempting to gain access to his apartment. The neighbor was throwing garbage and water at the door to the apartment. The student reported that one of his roommates got into an argument with the man the night before, and that the man also tried to gain access to their apartment at the time. NUPD and Boston Police Department (BPD) responded, and the residents of the apartment, all students, said they no longer felt safe in their apartment. Residential Life was unable to find a safe room for the students, but they were all able to find alternate places to stay for the night.

Sunday, March 2, 1:28 p.m.

An officer reported a woman inside of an Northeastern recycling truck attempting to collect bottles and cans. The officer asked the female to exit the truck but the woman would not. The woman was banned from all Northeastern property.

Sunday, March 16, 5:09 a.m.

A man on the second floor of Snell Library was reported to have an “altered mental status” and was vomiting. Officers spoke to the student, who had just been reported as missing by a roommate. The student was escorted to their residence.

Saturday, March 29, 12:03 a.m.

A student reported men burning jerseys in the alleyway behind 27 Symphony Road. Officers responded and spoke to the subject, who was disgruntled over a sports team draft. No fire or smoke was in the area upon the officers’ arrival.

12:17 a.m.

The word “help” was written on a wall in White Hall. Officers determined the word was written in either blood or chocolate, and that there was no one in the area.

Sunday, April 6, 6:23 a.m.

An intoxicated student was reported yelling at the proctor in Speare Hall. Officers spoke to the student, who admitted to drinking earlier that night, and stated he was upset over the proctor sleeping.
