After recovering from a coma, Fergal Brady, the business exchange student from Dublin City University in Ireland, who was hospitalized after a hit-and-run accident on March 28, was transferred between hospitals. Brady was initally taken to Boston Medical Center and then moved to the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Network on Friday.
“He’s hoping to be exercising soon,” said Maurice Brady, his father. “We’re really pleased to see that he’s doing better.”
Brady suffered severe head trauma in the accident and was in critical condition. Last week, he was taken off a ventilator and moved to Spaulding.
Boston Police is continuing their search for the turquoise Mercury Tracer sedan with the yellow pinstripe that hit Brady and freshman communications major Gena Prastos on March 28, police said. As of now, there is no new information, but officers are investigating the case.
