I’m a poor inlander from Cape Cod, and am against the wind farm. It’s not likely going to cost less than electricity. I grew up a short driving distance from the ocean, and know I wouldn’t want to see it obstructed with a wind farm. There are already tourists who occupy that job. As far as I’m concerned, the rich coastal residents are also tourists. (They’re usually only there during the summer.) If anyone wants to discuss a waste of natural resources, I believe that every building in Boston turns the temperature up to ninety degrees during the winter.
