In anticipation of inclement weather caused by remnants of Hurricane Frances, the Office of New Student Orientation, Student Center and Student Activities and the Welcome Week Coordinating Committee have postponed or relocated outdoor Welcome Week activities for Wednesday, Sept. 8 and Thursday, Sept. 9.
* The Army ROTC sponsored Welcome BBQ, originally scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, will be postponed to Wednesday, Sept. 15 in the Krentzman Quad.
* The afterHOURS and WBCN-sponsored Badfish show originally scheduled from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Krentzman Quad will be moved inside to afterHOURS.
* The Ice Cream Social, sponsored by XCEL, scheduled from 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, will be moved to the Curry Student Center Indoor Quad at the same time.
* The Annual Hillel BBQ, scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at 70 St. Stephen St., will be moved inside the same address.
* The Fall Activities Fair, scheduled from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9 in the Krentzman Quad, will be postponed until Sept. 15 at the same time and location.
* The Unity Gospel Ensemble sponsored Welcome BBQ originally scheduled for 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Curry Student Center roof terrace will be moved to the Student Center Ballroom from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
* The Outdoor Movie “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King,” scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. in the West Village Quad Thursday, will be moved to the Curry Student Center Ballroom.
