The New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association announced the roster for the 2005 Division I All-Star team which includes Northeastern University senior Tim Bush and juniors Arman Sidhu and Chris Emanuele.
The team, consisting of Division I college players from universities across New England, will play a game against an all-star team of Division II and III players at Fenway Park on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
Sidhu was named to the first-team while Bush and Emanuele were both named to the second-team.
Sidhu was the top defensive player for the Huskies, recording a .973 fielding percentage with six errors at shortstop. He also hit .307 with 26 RBI and was a perfect 6-for-6 stealing bases.
Bush hit .309 at third base and served as the team’s closer. He belted nine home runs and 26 RBI.
Emanuele set a record at NU with a 17-game hitting streak this season. He also led the team with 11 homers and 40 RBI from the leadoff spot.
The game will be played immediately following the Major League Baseball game between the Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
