I have been City Councilor Michael Ross’ biggest critic for the last year and a half. Some criticize the blunt style that I have brought to bear on the many lies that he has told students during his tenure in office.

But, it seems like every time we students get mad at the Councilor for blaming us for Boston’s crime problem, trying to take away our civil liberties, and out and out trash talking our school, he manages to get away with it with little to no major backlash from his largest constituency base, NU students.

Well it’s time we all stopped gasping every time I call Councilor Ross a liar and get down to real political business. Whether you are a Democrat, Republican or Independent, if you are a student, Ross is your political enemy. In October he co-authored the University Accountability Ordinance that would have provided the Boston Police Department with a directory of all your addresses so that if you had any kind of complaint against you, they would know you were a student and take appropriate action.

We all know why this ordinance was introduced
