What are your plans for St. Patrick’s Day?
“Growing up in Massachusetts and having Irish heritage, St. Patrick’s day is huge. Corned beef and cabbage was always the meal my mom made for the day, and there was always drinking. As I am now a crazy college student, I plan on cracking my first beer at 10 a.m., and continuing to inebriate myself until no longer possible. Then I will nap, and continue to go for a pint at the pub during the night. I’ll be going to the parade March 20 and we’ll see where the night takes me on Thursday.” – James Woods, sophomore international business major

“For me, it was just the perfect weekend to get away. I miss my college friends and B-town does it up for St. Patty’s Day, so I couldn’t miss it. All I know is that I’m getting off the plane and taking shots.” – Kelsey Katahira, sophomore human services major, who is currently on co-op in Chicago

“I will celebrate with the most authentic Irish beer and liquor I can get my hands on and will take pride in my Irish heritage and remember what they had to go through to get me here and allow it all to happen.” – Kyle Dahney, middler psychology major
