Private engineers hired by Northeastern continued work this week at 337 Huntington Ave., a residence hall whose multi-ton stone cornice collapsed onto the sidewalk July 14. Vice President for Marketing and Communications Mike Armini said workers are still dismantling the rest of the cornice and university officials ‘don’t anticipate determining a cause for the incident until this work is done.’ He did not have an immediate estimate for when they would be finished dismantling the cornice.
