Home to majors in applied physics, behavioral neuroscience, linguistics, marine biology, mathematics and more, the College of Science offers both undergraduate and graduate courses. Northeastern boasts 37 interdisciplinary research centers within the College of Science which encourage student and professor collaboration. Fifteen of those centers are headed by distinguished professors or professors holding endowed chairs. The average high school GPA of students enrolled in the college is 4.05 and the average SAT Score is 1415. The College of Science was founded in 2011 and is still headed by its founding dean J. Murray Gibson. The college has 2,700 undergraduates, 600 graduate students and 181 faculty members. Administrative offices are in Richards Hall.
