Students coping with depression now have one more option for treatment – and it isn’t a pill.
A new treatment for depression was recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Unlike commonly prescribed anti-depressants like Zoloft and Prozac, this new drug, which will be marketed as Emsam, is not in the traditional form of a pill, but in patch form.
