Thursday, Jan. 31, International Holocaust Day: A survivor shares her story

In honor of International Holocaust Day, which occurred Sunday, go to Northeastern University Hillel to hear Holocaust survivor Mira Furth share her story. A kosher dinner will be provided. 8 p.m.- 9 p.m.; Northeastern University Hillel; Free.

Friday, Feb. 1, The Beyoncé Experience Planetarium Show

The Beyoncé Experience Planetarium Show is back for the month of February. The show engages the audience in a sensory musical journey, using cutting-edge technology to fuse Beyoncé’s music with stunning visuals. The museum also showcases similar experiences with the music of David Bowie and Pink Floyd. 8:30 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.; Museum of Science; $10.

Saturday, Feb. 2, Franklin Park Winter Festival

Grab a friend and join the Franklin Park Coalition and AMC’s Outdoors Rx for their 2019 winter festival. Sunday, Feb. 3, Chinese Spring Festival Gala Night

In celebration of the Chinese New Year, Northeastern’s Chinese Students and Scholars Association will host this gala filled with dancing, singing, theatre and more. Monday, Feb. 4, Boston Beanpot Tournament

Hockey fans won’t want to miss this year’s Beanpot. Boston College will play Harvard at 5 p.m., followed by Northeastern against Boston University at 8 p.m. Northeastern won multiple Beanpot titles in the 1980s but then failed to win again for 30 years, only breaking their losing streak in 2018. Tuesday, Feb. 5, HellaBlack BCA Mixtape Vol. 1

In celebration of Black History Month, the Boston Center for the Arts will amplify the voices of black artists living and working in the Boston area. This one-night-only pop-up event will feature the work of local black singers, songwriters, dancers, visual artists and storytellers. Zainab Sumu Primitive Modern clothing brand will also host a pop-up shop at the event. 5 p.m.- 8 p.m.; Boston Center for the Arts; $15 for students.

Wednesday, Feb. 6, Masters of Miniature: 40th Annual Model Ship Show

If you’re a fan of model ships, history or both, stop by the USS Constitution Museum to view the prize-winning models from the last five years, partake in a scavenger hunt, learn how to get a ship into a bottle and more. Additionally, this recurring Wednesday event features the restoration of a historic model. 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.; USS Constitution Museum; $10-$15 donation.
