Monday, July 22
4:37 p.m.
A proctor reported observing a man stealing a bike from the racks outside Davenport A. Officers responded and reported checking the area with negative results. A report was filed.

Tuesday, July 23
7:10 p.m.
A former NU student reported his unattended laptop was stolen in Kariotis Hall. A report was filed.

Thursday, July 25
5:53 a.m.
An NU staff member reported his unattended backpack was stolen from inside a closet in the Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex. A report was filed.

9:41 a.m.
An NU staff member reported an intoxicated man was stuck in an enclosed outdoor area outside Cargill Hall. Officers responded and were able to help the man into a room. They identified the man as unaffiliated with NU with a positive criminal record and an outstanding warrant. The man was arrested and sent to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for further evaluation. A report was filed.

8:07 p.m.
An NU staff member reported an agitated student attempted to meet with them but went to the president’s office to complain about the financial hold on his account. A report was filed.

Friday, July 26
5:55 p.m.
A BPD officer reported unsuccessfully attempting to pull over two men in a stolen vehicle on Tremont Street. NUPD officers responded and located the vehicle parked near Robinson Quad and later apprehended one of the men, who admitted to being in the vehicle. The second man was apprehended on St. Botolph Street. Both men were unaffiliated with NU and checked internally with no criminal records. BPD released the first man and placed the second under arrest. A report was filed.

Saturday, July 27
10:34 a.m.
A proctor reported observing a man unaffiliated with NU stealing bike parts in Southwest Corridor Park. Officers responded, reported the man had not stolen the bike parts and banned him from all NU property. A report was filed.

10:11 p.m.
The manager of Wollaston’s Market in Marino Recreation Center reported a man attempted to shoplift and was being cooperative. Officers responded, reported the man was unaffiliated with NU and banned him from both Wollaston’s locations. A report was filed.

Sunday, July 28
7:01 p.m.
An NU staff member reported four male juveniles shoplifted from Wollaston’s Market in West Village and fled toward Ruggles Station. Officers responded and reported checking the area with negative results. A report was filed.
