A caller reported observing individuals push a planter down the street near West Village C. Services rendered. 

1:25 a.m.

A caller reported an intoxicated individual inside Melvin Hall. The individual was transported to the hospital.

1:26 a.m. 

A caller reported an individual smoking marijuana near International Village, or IV. Services rendered. 

6:46 a.m. 

Operations received the general fire alarm from Renaissance Park Garage. There was no smoke or fire. Officers responded with the Boston Fire Department.  

5:57 p.m. 

A caller reported an individual entered Loftman Hall without swiping in. The area was checked.  

6:14 p.m. 

A fake ID was located at Columbus Place. A report was filed. 

9:01 p.m. 

A caller reported a bag was left at the bottom of the stair in Hayden Hall. Services rendered. 

11:04 p.m. 

A caller reported an individual lying on the ground on Gainsborough Street. Services rendered.

A caller reported being sexually harassed by an unknown individual on Huntington Avenue. A report was filed. 

1:18 p.m. 

A caller reported an individual entered IV without proper access. A report was filed. 

2:20 p.m. 

An individual was acting erratically with a knife on Massachusetts Avenue. BPD assumed jurisdiction. 

3:45 p.m.

A caller reported suspicious activity in a bathroom in Stetson East. A report was filed. 

9:55 p.m. 

Operations received a general fire alarm from Hastings Hall. There was no smoke or fire. Officers responded with BFD. 

Thursday, Jan. 20 

1:17 a.m. 

Operations received an emergency hang up call from Renaissance Park. The area was checked. 

12:51 p.m. 

A caller reported a bicycle stolen from Forsyth Street. A report was filed. 

1:11 p.m. 

A caller reported being a victim of a rental scam off campus. A report was filed. 

1:23 p.m.

Operations received a general fire alarm from Squashbusters. There was no smoke or fire. Officers responded with the Boston Fire Department.

Individuals were observed loitering in Public Alley 807. The individuals were sent on their way.

A caller reported an intoxicated individual in Smith Hall. The individual was transported to the hospital.

A caller reported individual damaged equipment in the Matthews Arena Lot. A report was filed.

Operations received a general fire alarm from Kennedy Hall. There was no smoke or fire. Officers responded with BFD.

A caller reported an individual pulling on door handles in Gainsborough Garage. The individual was sent on their way.

A caller reported being threatened by an unknown individual on Tremont Street. The area was checked.

4:48 a.m. 

A caller reported an unknown individual attempted to break into their vehicle on Huntington Avenue. BPD assumed jurisdiction. 

1:21 p.m. 

Officers observed a male yelling at passersby on the first floor of Hastings Hall. The subject identified as Juan Lopez has outstanding warrants and was actively trespassing at NU. The subject was placed under arrest for warrants and charged with trespassing. 

8:20 p.m. 

A caller reported their bicycle stolen from Columbus Avenue. A report was filed. 

8:31 p.m. 

A caller reported an individual acting strangely in the lobby of Hastings Hall. The individual was sent on their way. 

9:34 p.m. 

A caller reported an individual entered 116 St. Stephen St. without being signed in. The area was checked.
