The sign of the Scorpio rules over the sexual organs. Therefore, if a Scorpio asks for your sign, he or she’s main interest may be just getting some love.

But seriously, sex isn’t the only thing Scorpios are concerned with. They are also highly focused on perfection and, as such, will persevere in any matter until either success or failure has entirely withered from sight. This desire for perfection is probably motivated by the Scorpio’s intense emotions.

The Scorpio is a sign most famous for its passion and drive. Its bearers are subject to dramatic emotions, highly potent feelings, and liveliness, a stark contrast to the numbingly sterile time period between Oct. 23 to Nov. 21 they are born under. While one would think such vitality to be a positive trait, it can also lead to possessiveness, vindictiveness and belligerence. A major pet peeve of the Scorpio is imperfection in anything. Whether the fault is with others or themselves, signs of weakness bug them.

A Scorpio will work diligently to rectify anything they perceive as erroneous; unconcerned with whether they will meet with scorn or praise by doing so. While this may sound obnoxious, Scorpios are not always pests. They can also be compassionate and giving, willing to push themselves to the breaking point for any person that has earned their loyalty. Indeed, friendship can often be the Scorpio’s king.

The Scorpio symbol is a fixed water sign. It is ruled by the planets Mars and Pluto. Its lucky day is Tuesday, and its birthstone colors are opal, sardonxy, topaz, and turquoise. Most predictable of all, though, is that the Scorpio is represented by a scorpion. While this may not be a stinging revelation, it is a fitting image for the astrological sign. To explain, Scorpios often have penetrating personalities. They are also very secretive at times, and in much the same manner as their insignia, can be distinguished from all others by their unique walk. Scorpios will not hide in anyone’s shoes, as they are not overtly concerned with appearance. Instead, they will prefer to buy sturdy clothes of lasting quality, all the while ignoring the pungent odor of strong perfumes. Scorpios are not cheap, as they are unconcerned with fiscal matters, but rather are apathetic about the opinions of those around them. Scorpios are generally intraspective in nature.

The slogan of the Scorpio is “I Desire.” It is said that Scorpios are extremely sensual lovers. They are loyal, sensitive, and adoring partners. But, if they are ever subject to infidelity, they are very likely to completely flee the relationship. They are easily driven to jealousy and they are hard to keep pleased, but their finicky nature will often reward their significant others with genuine love and devout companionship. Scorpios have a hard time with the other gender, but they will endlessly pursue the opposite sex no matter how many unions they have fallen out of, for they are love bugs. Their persistence keeps them crawling ever onward, with their distinctive walk accompanying them every step of the way. Their Zodiacal matches are Pisces and Cancer.

It is certain that Scorpios are full of drama and energy. Their theatrical actions are evidence of this, and those actions are the very crux of the Scorpio’s personality. For all those associated with Scorpios, they need only to remember only one thing in order to deal with them: the play is the sting.
