1 Meet with your academic advisor to plan your courses for the spring and summer 2003 quarters and make sure you are on track with your college and major requirements. Your advisor will work with you to create an academic transition schedule so you will know which semester courses to take during the 2003-04 academic year. Students in the Class of 2004 must meet with their advisor this year to secure their graduation audit.
2 Under semesters, co-op placements will last six months, running from January to June or July to December. If you are currently in Division A or Y, you will be placed in Semester Division B (January – June). If you are currently in Division B or Z, you will be placed in Semester Division A (July – December). First-year students will be placed in new divisions as part of their Introduction to Co-op course. If you are an upper-class student planning either to participate in your first co-op or change your co-op division, make an appointment with your co-op coordinator to determine which co-op division you will follow next year.
3 After you have determined your class/co-op schedule, make an appointment to meet with Student Financial Services to review your financial aid package for 2003-04. Due to the semester calendar, you will receive your aid at different times of the year and in different individual amounts than you had previously under the quarter system.
4If you have applied for campus housing next year, you need to make your deposit by March 3. The housing lottery for students graduating in 2004, 2005 and 2006 is March 31-April 3; for students in the class of 2007, it is May 6, 8, 13 and 15. For the fall 2003 semester, undergraduates will move into the residence halls on Sept. 6 and 7.
