Crime Log: March 18-March 25

March 28, 2013
An RA in Stetson East reported an intoxicated student was locked in a bathroom stall and was unresponsive. Officers responded and reported speaking with the 18-year-old female student who was conscious and alert. The student admitted to consuming two glasses of wine.

March 21, 2013
The manager of the Northeastern bookstore reported he had video footage of a student stealing books and selling them back to the bookstore. Officers responded and filed a report.

March 14, 2013
A student reported she was being harassed by her roommate, who kept signing her up for advertisements through the mail. Officers responded and reported that both residents are new transfer students who knew each other through high school and moved in together. The reporting student said they both started signing each other up for advertisements so that they would have mail. She now thinks this has gone too far.

February 28, 2013
A staff member reported observing a man in the Smith Hall laundry room standing still in a strange position for several hours. Officers responded and reported the man was a mannequin with his head stuck in the dryer machine. Officers contacted the RD who reported the mannequin may have come from an art project in Ryder Hall. Officers checked Ryder with no results.

February 21, 2013
The Stetson East dining hall manager reported that on Feb. 9 at 8 p.m., six men were drinking beer in the cafeteria and subsequently engaged in a food fight. The manager escorted the students out of the cafeteria. The manager requested that officers make random checks of the cafeteria to discourage such conduct.

February 14, 2013
Boston College police reported a male Northeastern student, age 19, was found rolling in a roadway in the snow, and was almost struck by vehicles. The student, who was intoxicated, was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center.

February 7, 2013
Feb. 2, 11:37 p.m.: A female Northeastern student reported a college-aged male passed out on the floor of a room in Davenport Commons A. She reported the subject woke up, and when he realized she was on the phone with NUPD, attempted to leave the area. She also reported the man was repeatedly vomiting. Officers responded and found the 19-year-old Northeastern student, who was intoxicated and semi-alert. Boston Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded and took the student to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

A faculty member in Hayden Hall reported receiving e-mails with links to porn sites from a Northeastern student who had been upset over a grade.

January 24, 2013
A student reported being sold fake Patriots tickets while on Parker Street. The student reported answering an ad on Craigslist and paying $660 for four tickets to the AFC Championship game. Upon arrival at the game the student and his friends were informed the tickets were fake.

January 17, 2013
The RA on duty at Smith Hall reported an intoxicated male student vomiting in the men’s bathroom. Officers responded and found an 18-year-old Providence College student fully clothed in a shower stall, with the water running. He was conscious but not alert. Boston EMS transported the student to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

January 10, 2013
A staff member in Kariotis Hall reported entering a dark room, turning on the lights, seeing a person run out the opposite door and smelling marijuana.

November 29, 2012
The mother of a student reported that her daughter had informed her of a party going on in her West Village F room. An officer responded and spoke with a student who agreed to turn the music down.
