A proctor in Stetson East reported an older man in the lobby of the building dropping items on the floor and bothering the Curry Student Center employees. The man, described as wearing a white floral shirt and having blue hair, appeared to be intoxicated. The RSO supervisor called and stated the man was now seated in the dining hall crying. Officers responded and determined he was not affiliated with the university. The man stated he asked a man in front of a liquor store to buy him some vodka, and was punched in the head and robbed an hour before. The man stated he was staying with a female Northeastern student. Officers spoke to the student and another friend, who state they were drinking with the subject earlier when he became severely intoxicated. They stated they had him sleep on the couch and he left the area at an unknown time. Boston EMS responded but the man refused transport. NUPD discovered that the man had attempted to cook chicken on the stove in the kitchen of the dining hall and had contaminated the food thawing for Saturday’s meals. He also spilled oil all over the kitchen. NUPD alerted the dining hall staff that the food could not be used. At 5:30 a.m., there were numerous emergency calls placed that a man in front of 106 St. Stephen St. was screaming and buzzing every apartment in the building.
