Sometimes it's hard to know what to do when you hear about the thousands of people affected by climate change. This bill gives you a chance to act locally and support people all over the world.
Going into Birthright, I felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness. Everyone always talks about how much they loved their trip and how awesome it was, calling it life-changing, but no one could ever give me a sound reason why they loved it so much. While the two days of travel weren’t great, I quickly learned that everyone I had talked to about Birthright was right.
We, as a nation, need to face the facts that relying on fossil fuels is not forever, and that transitioning to renewable energy such as solar is a stable source of eternal energy.
Netflix. Hulu. Prime. HBO Go. Amazon Fire Stick. Chromecast. Movie theaters, cinemas and drive-ins are dying. Each new streaming entertainment service is another stab wound to the cinema industry.
Now more than ever, there is a propensity toward the ideas of liberty, and it is so important that everyone hears it. As college students, we are on the battleground of ideas, where socialism is glorified. It is our role as young liberty-minded individuals to punch back and say that maybe we know how to live our lives better than the government.
