Sometimes it's hard to know what to do when you hear about the thousands of people affected by climate change. This bill gives you a chance to act locally and support people all over the world.
Going into Birthright, I felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness. Everyone always talks about how much they loved their trip and how awesome it was, calling it life-changing, but no one could ever give me a sound reason why they loved it so much. While the two days of travel weren’t great, I quickly learned that everyone I had talked to about Birthright was right.
Now, I’m certainly no Nate Silver, but I feel extremely comfortable making a prediction about the outcome of this race: Jackson is going to get absolutely smoked by Walsh.
We, as a nation, need to face the facts that relying on fossil fuels is not forever, and that transitioning to renewable energy such as solar is a stable source of eternal energy.
Should you want something simply because you can have it or because others believe that it’s worthy of pursuit? This logic seems flawed yet so often we do pursue what others hold in high regard.
