“The Colored Museum,” a new play at the Huntington Theatre, turns stereotypes upside down by drawing on historically abhorrent theater portrayals, like blackface and human zoos, to create a scathing and hilarious commentary on the representations of people of color.
After initially refusing to pay the $2.5 million the City of Boston requested in lieu of taxes for the 2014 fiscal year, Northeastern has paid $886,000. NU fails to make full city payment

In light of recent criticism, Northeastern University made a payment to the City of Boston on March 2 through the Payments in Lieu of Tax (PILOT) program designed to help cover the costs of municipal services. The university originally paid nothing for the 2014 fiscal year.
