One of the Internet’s least-discussed contributions is the transformation of the pornography industry. In her lecture, “Playing with Sexnology,” psychiatrist and professor at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis, Frances Bidga-Peyton will present the effects of online porn, which comprises 13 percent of Internet searches. She will discuss the neurochemistry of cyberporn use, sex differences, the dangers of porn and treatments for addiction. In the Vagabond Theatre Company’s new play, “A Southern Victory,” the Confederacy has won The Civil War, and as as a result, slavery still thrives, prohibition continues and abolitionists known as John Brown’s Army have turned to violent, almost terrorist-like means to get their message across. The play, taking place at Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, centers on a college student named Thomas Williams who witnesses the terrorism firsthand and must decide whether to continue his family’s legacy as slave-owners or join the abolitionists. Roxbury Community College is presenting its rendition of Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman” at the Roxbury Repertory Theatre. Directed by Robbie McCauley, the play is part of a centennial anniversary celebration in honor of Miller. The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning play follows Willy Loman, a traveling salesman, and his sons Biff and Happy after Loman returns home from a car accident. Loman has spent his life chasing the American Dream, believing that hard work will get him what he needs in sales. He attempts to make sense of the world that once promised so much but is now full of his manufactured excuses and daydreams. 1234 Columbus Ave., Roxbury; 10:00 a.m. – noon; $10.

Now, thanks to ImprovBoston, this lovable transportation system has its own musical. “T: An MBTA Musical” follows a group of three young people whose lives have been ruined by the aforementioned pain of the MBTA.
