Men’s track nabs team title

The Northeastern track teams dominated the competition last weekend at the Snowflake Classic at Tufts University. The men’s squad took home the team title and the women’s squad finished third as six Huskies recorded individual victories and more achieved new personal records.

Women’s rowing team swept out west

The west coast didn’t treat the women’s rowing team well, as the squad fell to 1-3 after the PAC-12 Challenge last weekend at Stanford University. The Huskies competed against Oregon State University and the University of California, in addition to Stanford.

When the Northeastern Huskies baseball team welcomed the James Madison University Dukes to Friedman Diamond, the club was just 2-7 in their first three Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) series. Fortunately for head coach Neil McPhee and company, the Huskies brought on their brooms and were able to sweep Dukes at Friedman Diamond in Brookline last weekend.

Four-game win streak stumped for men’s club lacrosse

Ever since the Huskies’ first win of the season against Texas State University on March 16, the Northeastern men’s club lacrosse team had racked up enough wins for a four-game winning streak until it was snapped by the University of Connecticut last night at Parsons Field.

Men’s rowing kicks off season with sweep at Pennsylvania Invitational

The Northeastern men’s rowing team won the Pennsylvania Invitational regatta with a perfect 12-0 race record on March 23 at Cooper River in Camden, N.J. The Huskies swept Georgetown University, George Mason University and the University of Pennsylvania in their season opener this weekend.

Club lacrosse finds first win of the season

After a disappointing road trip to California to start the season, the Northeastern men’s club lacrosse team found its first win against Texas State University on March 16 in Providence, R.I. Although the team said the one-point victory was difficult to be happy with, the Huskies came out playing stronger for their following game against University of New Hampshire on March 23.
