The Huskies walked out of Linda Johnson Stadium in Worcester Tuesday with their heads held high, after their dominant defensive effort kept the opposing Crusaders from mounting any threat in a 2-0 victory.
The Huskies played three matches this weekend, losing to both Fairfield University and Sacred Heart University before fighting off a tournament sweep by beating the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Star sophomore midfielder Ryan Massoud made sure Northeastern came away with a point Saturday evening, scoring both goals for the Huskies as they came back from a two goal deficit to earn a draw during their CAA home opener versus Delaware.
The Northeastern women’s volleyball team fell to the University of New Hampshire by a score of 3-2 Tuesday night, bringing their record to 4-3 on the season.

The Huskies escaped Cushing Field with a 2-1 win over the UMass Lowell River Hawks, who struggled to finish despite possessing the ball for most of the game.
