For the second game in a row, the only way the Huskies could find the back of the net was through a Timothy Ennin penalty kick as they were bested 3-1 by the UNC Wilmington Seahawks.
The Huskies were picked to finish fourth in Hockey East this year by the Hockey East Writers & Broadcasters Association. They will likely need to exceed that in order to make NCAAs. Here’s a breakdown of the roster that will decide the outcome.
Going into the half down 2-0, the Huskies needed to put something together to turn the game on its heels. To say they did just that would be an understatement, as the resilient Huskies put four unanswered goals past Charleston Saturday in the second half to take the game by a score of 4-2.
