Men’s basketball sets season-high margin of victory, picks up back to back road wins

Northeastern led by as many as 28, and in the end left Williamsburg with a 90-70 victory for the second year in a row. Roland added 15 points on 5-8 shooting, while Pusica contributed a quiet but efficient 13 on 4-8 shooting.

Towson holds off the Huskies, takes CAA bout 88-83

But that was as close as the Huskies got, as near-perfect free-throw shooting was enough to close the game out and seal the deal for Towson, who move to 3-0 along with James Madison as the only remaining undefeated CAA teams. Northeastern, meanwhile, drops to 2-1.

From the start of the extra period, Northeastern tapped once again into their early-game dominance. The Huskies scored the first eight points of overtime and didn’t look back, outscoring Elon 18-7 and taking away an impressive 81-70 victory.
