Column: The men’s soccer team has been having a season that gives most fans heart attacks. All but two of its eight games have been decided by one goal or less, with five of those going to double overtime. They make it impossible to know the result of the game until the final whistle.

Staff File Photo by Laura Pond The men’s soccer team’s 1-0 double overtime loss to Old Dominion University (ODU) last Saturday summed up its entire season as the Huskies topped their opponent in shots on goal, but came up short after ODU forward Daniel Lidster scored in the 105th minute. The Huskies dropped to 3-4-3 in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play and 5-8-3 on the season, and their playoff hopes are in jeopardy.
