Whether you’re out to break a sweat, or more likely to break the bank, Newbury Street was voted Best Shopping in Boston for the second year in a row.

Boston’s own version of New York City’s Fifth Avenue or Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive, Newbury Street is appealing to Bostonians and tourists alike because of its glitzy array of shops, restaurants, galleries, salons and straight-up people-watching.

Most easily accessible by foot on a nice day, Newbury Street can also be reached by stopping at the Copley, Hynes Con-vention Center or Arlington T stops. Spend an entire weekend walking the long street that stretches eight blocks and ends up at the Boston Common, and you will still find you have barely skimmed the Newbury surface.
