Entry of the Week: Dec. 28, Saturday, 2:12 a.m.
Boston Police Department (BPD) reported a man, who was wearing a blue sweatshirt and was covered in blood, had snatched a purse from a woman and was heading from Huntington Avenue towards Forsyth Street. Northeastern officers quickly found the man inside Ruggles Station’s upper busway and took him into custody after he had been identified by the owner of the purse.
Sunday, Dec. 22
5:35 p.m.
An officer reported finding an unresponsive man on the floor of the basement restroom in International Village. The man was not breathing, and officers began CPR. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were notified, and officers reported speaking with two men who were with the patient. The two were issued trespass warnings, and EMS transported the man to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Saturday, Dec. 28
6:58 p.m.
BPD reported a person shot on Cabot Street. Officers responded to the surrounding area, and minutes later BPD reported a second shooting victim at 50 Annunciation Road.
Tuesday, Dec. 31
10:38 p.m.
A proctor in West Village A reported an intoxicated man was having trouble walking, and had been signed into the building. Officers responded and spoke to the brother of the student, who was alert and conscious and in need of EMS. At 11:20 p.m., the student called officers to report her brother was now vomiting and incoherent. The brother was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Thursday, Jan. 2
2:26 p.m.
A Residence Director (RD) in Willis Hall reported that she believed a resident was smoking marijuana. Officers spoke to a student, who admitted to smoking marijuana. Officers confiscated a small amount of marijuana as well as paraphernalia.
Friday, Jan. 3
10:22 p.m.
A student in West Village E reported his clothing had been stolen from the laundry room.
Saturday, Jan. 4
6:59 p.m.
A Resident Assistant (RA) in West Village F reported smelling marijuana. Officers spoke to two students who admitted to smoking marijuana, but no marijuana was found. Officers confiscated a vaporizer with drug residue.
8:59 p.m.
An RA in 780 Columbus Ave. reported smelling marijuana. Officers spoke to four students, and confiscated marijuana and paraphernalia.
Sunday, Jan. 5
12:49 p.m.
An RD in Willis Hall reported the odor of marijuana coming from a room in the building. Officers spoke to five students, and placed Paul Samuel Dodson under arrest for possession with intent to distribute.
1:41 p.m.
An RD in Willis Hall requested officers come for suspected drug use. Officers spoke to two students and confiscated a small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia.
