The Northeastern University Dance Company (NUDANCO) was founded in 2002. The company’s dancers and choreographers perform across campus in the genres of modern, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, ballet, tap, hip-hop and interpretive. The dancers also offer classes year round taught by student choreographers. Auditions are held in January and September of year and dancers must attend auditions to participate in the semesterly showcase. Graduate and undergraduates can be a part of NUDANCO. Rehearsals are normally in the dance studio on the second floor of the Curry Student Center. Dancers are restricted to performing in no more than 3 dances at each showcase.
