The Hus-skiers and Outing Club (NUHOC) owns a lodge in the White Mountains, on the border of Maine and New Hampshire, where members run trips year round. Trips range from weekends skiing and snowboarding to hiking day trips around Boston. One of their most popular events is the annual Memorial Day trip to Acadia National Park for skiing and snowboarding at Sunday River. A few times a year, NUHOC runs full-scale, weekend trips where activities can include backpacking, canoeing, caving, ice climbing, mountaineering and mountain biking. Membership includes a discount on lodge fees, as well as discounts on gear at various sporting goods stores. Students must pay dues to be a member of NUHOC.
