Boston House of Pizza, located on Huntington Avenue across from the YMCA – just a short walk from Northeastern’s Green Line T stop – was voted the prime spot for pizza on campus.
For those seeking a gyro, sandwich or just a cheesy slice, BHOP has long been a destination for late night partiers, bar-hoppers and studiers in dire need of a snack.
Stationed between Huntington Wine and Spirits and rival Cappys II, BHOP has been serving the general Northeastern community since 1970.
Open until 12:30 a.m., the restaurant is one of few pizza shops in the area that accepts the Husky Card in addition to cash and credit cards.
A large variety of salads, pasta, calzones and other late night snacks is served at a wide range of prices. The array of subs, including everything from a fish sub to eggplant to meatball, can all be purchased for under $6 each.
BHOP’s pizzas, including chicken, Athenian and Sicilian, range from $6 to $10 for a small and $9 to $15 for a large.
Additionally, BHOP currently offers a special: Buy two large pizzas and receive a free 2-liter soda.
