Jim Madigan

Dear DogHouse,

I wanted to reach out and thank each and every one of you for your outstanding energy at last Saturday’s game against No. 1 Massachusetts. We could hear you from our locker room before we even took the ice, and your enthusiasm was palpable from the opening puck drop, helping carry us to our biggest win of the season!

Our players, coaches and staff know that you are the best fans in college hockey. You pack the DogHouse night in and night out, and bring the noise when we travel on the road. We truly appreciate your passion for Northeastern Hockey.

We know that everyone’s excited for the Beanpot coming up in two weeks, as are we. But before we head to TD Garden on the first Monday in February, we have some business to attend to here at Matthews Arena on Saturday night against No. 14 Providence (7 p.m.). Once again, we need you in the building bringing the noise. Tickets are free to students through your myNortheastern portal and we have some very exciting promotions in store for our Skating Strides Game against the Friars.

Again, thank you so much for your support of the men’s ice hockey program, and we look forward to seeing you right back here at Matthews Arena on Saturday night!

Go Huskies!

Jim Madigan is the head coach of Northeastern men’s hockey.
