Northeastern students reflect on remote co-ops, give advice to underclassmen

Although the co-op program is not exclusive to Northeastern, it remains one of the leading factors of why students choose to attend the university, according to students interviewed by The News. However, in the past few co-op cycles, Northeastern’s hands-on learning program shifted online and introduced a new set of hardships during the pandemic. 

The News spoke with four Northeastern students about their experiences working out of their bedroom from 9-5 and the advice they would give to underclassmen applying for co-ops.
