Alexandra Kerry, daughter of senator and 2004 presidential candidate John Kerry, visited Snell Library last Thursday to promote her new book, “Notes from the Trail.”
Kerry’s book is about experiencing a presidential campaign as the close relative of a candidate, and how being a part of a political family during the election was “extreme, lengthy and required a lot of endurance.”
Her father’s bid for the presidency helped spark Kerry’s interest in politics, she said, which had been low during her college years.
“I was incredibly cynical about the political process when I was in college.
