People talk about how professional athletes are paid to play their respective sports. However, at the college level, athletes are forbidden to receive any compensation for their efforts. But what about the universities they attend? In Division I college football, universities receive money for putting a team at the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level on their schedule and making the trip to their fields for the games.
