This Saturday, Matthews Arena will hold its final hockey match after 115 years of hosting sports icons from the Northeastern Huskies to the Boston Celtics. The Huntington News’ Sofia Garrett spoke with members of the arena’s community to share their stories in a final tribute to over a century of sporting legacy at America’s oldest indoor hockey venue.
