Sophomore Paul Koslowski of the baseball team has been selected as the Northeastern News Player of the Week. Koslowski was instrumental in Northeastern taking four of five games last week. The pitcher/first baseman batted .800 for the week, hit his first home run of the season, and drove in nine runners. He went 2-2 and added three RBI against UMass on Wednesday. He went 2-2 with three more RBI in the second game of a doubleheader versus Pace on Sunday. His first home run of 2003 came on Saturday, where he also scored two runs. He had a slugging percentage of 1.100 for the week. On the mound, he pitched six innings for the win in game one of a doubleheader against Pace on Sunday. Those efforts also earned him the honor of America East Co-Player of the Week. For the year, Koslowski is batting .330 with one homer and 21 RBI. On the mound he is 2-1 with a 6.27 ERA.
