Northeastern entered a pair of crew teams in the Championship Eight of the Head of the Charles Regatta and took the 15th and 34th places in a field of 41.
Harvard University and Boston University were the only Boston teams to beat the Huskies in the Club Eights Division, as the rowers took 17th place in a field of 53.
NU also entered a pair of teams in the Men’s Club Fours, which finished 7th and 9th.
The women’s Youth Four team, which is open to competitors 19 and younger, had a solid fourth place finish. The women were less successful in the Championship Eight, placing 26th of 44 teams, right in the middle of the collegiate competition.
“It was a great Regatta weekend, it was a little cold; but the water was flat which makes for good racing conditions,” said women’s crew coach Joe Wilhelm. “Overall everyone had a good time.”
