Junior guard Jordan Roland led the way for the Huskies the next night out at home against Eastern Michigan, totalling 24 points and propelling Northeastern to a 81-67 victory.
The window for a Huskies’ come back dwindled as the Crusaders quickly answered the goal by Aurard, with Moore putting another one by Bugalski, her second goal of the evening, to push their lead to 5-3.

This November the Northeastern hockey community showed support for their alumnus by raising awareness for his GoFundMe page through “Mustaches for MacLeod.”
The teams headed to overtime tied 4-4 as sixty minutes of regulation failed to decide the tilt. Midway through the extra session the Huskies capped off the thrilling game with a dramatic goal by first-year forward Mia Brown.
The Huskies nonetheless demonstrated in Charleston that they could hang with one of the stronger mid-major teams in Davidson and give Power-5 conference teams trouble evidenced by their commanding victory over Alabama.
Then, with 5:29 left in regulation, first-year forward Tyler Madden and defender Jordan Harris worked together to put the Huskies ahead on the scoreboard where they stayed until the final buzzer rang.
Overall, it was a successful trip for the Huskies, who hadn’t won an away game at Alfond Arena in over three years. After going 1-0-1 in that same arena this weekend, it’s fair to say the Huskies have remedied their struggles up north.
Playing in their first Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) tournament game since 2014, the Northeastern men’s soccer team (6-9-1, 3-4-1 CAA) fell in a first round 1-0 loss to Hofstra (9-6-4, 5-2-1) in their final game of the season.
Last season, the team welcomed goalie Aerin Frankel to the squad, starting the year as backup to Bugalski. It quickly became apparent just how talented Frankel is and it was not long before Frankel was earning the start between the pipes.
