UPDATED: Critics organize against CSC Chick-fil-A location

The debate over Chick-fil-A, a company which has been accused of being an opponent of the LGBT community, erupted last week after Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Laura Wankel announced that the university is in negotiations to include a Chick-fil-A as part of a larger plan to renovate the food court in the Curry Student Center.

SGA’s Sabo, OPEN, ask ‘Pint for your thoughts?’

Food vendors Sweet Tomatoes Neapolitan Pizza, Kigo Kitchen, UBurger and Chick-fil-A are in negotiations with the university to install locations in the Curry Student Center this summer, Dr. Laura Wankel, Northeastern’s vice president of student affairs announced last night. He said he was most taken aback by the 22,000 space reservations made by the university’s faculty, staff and student groups for the 100 activity spaces available.
