Volleyball takes down JMU Dukes

The Northeastern volleyball team wrapped up regular season action this weekend at the Cabot Center with a sweep of the College of William & Mary on Sunday following a Friday night loss to James Madison University. The Huskies, who hold the No. 2 seed heading into next weekend’s Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) tournament, finished the season with a 10-4 conference record and an overall record of 18-10.

Volleyball pushes through for two come-from-behind wins

The Northeastern volleyball team captured two come-from-behind wins this weekend over the University of North Carolina Wilmington and the College of Charleston. Charleston was undefeated in conference play before falling to the Huskies, who now hold a 9-3 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) record and an overall record of 17-9.

With two decisive wins over conference rivals Towson University and the University of Delaware this past weekend, the Northeastern volleyball team moved into second place in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) with a conference record of 6-1 and an overall record of 14-7.

It was a successful weekend for the Northeastern volleyball team as they captured a decisive victory over the University of Delaware on Friday and swept Towson University on Saturday, improving to 3-1 in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play. The Huskies followed up the weekend with a 3-1 (22-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-15) victory at the University of Rhode Island Wednesday night, pushing the team’s overall record to 11-7.
