Boston Police Department (BPD) officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area of 34 Annunciation Rd. Sunday night, about a block away from West Village E, a BPD spokeswoman said.
Officer Nicole Grant, a BPD spokeswoman, said a witness reported about nine gunshots in the area. The shooter fled the scene on foot towards Ruggles Street, the witness said. No one was hurt in the shooting, but officers noticed bullet holes in a car parked at the scene.
Officers canvassed the area, but were unable to find the suspect, who remains at large.
