Entry of the week: Friday, Nov. 1, 1:26 a.m.
A student reported he was approached at the rear entrance to Stetson East by a man who shouted “Yo,” and then punched him in the face when he turned around. The suspect was described to be wearing a fake beard and all camouflage. The victim was not in need of medical attention.
Monday, Oct. 28
11:44 a.m.
A student reported that his bike was stolen from the bike racks in front of West Village G. The bike was described as a green Trek mountain bike.
11:51 a.m.
A student reported that her black Kona Dew Boston bike had been stolen from the bike racks near the Marino Center on the Wollaston’s Market side sometime the previous Thursday. The bike had been secured with a U-bolt lock by the front wheel, which was detached and left with the body of the bike missing.
3:30 p.m.
Boston Police (BPD) reported looking for a man potentially in possession of a firearm who was attempting to break into a rear window of 409 Huntington Ave. A suspect fitting the description was detained, the resident of the apartment was contacted, and the suspect was placed into custody for breaking and entering.
11:12 p.m.
A Resident Assistant (RA) in Smith Hall reported the odor of marijuana in the building. Officers confiscated a small amount of marijuana, a grinder and some rolling papers from a student.
11:23 p.m.
An officer reported fresh graffiti at the rear of Kerr and Cushing halls.
Tuesday, Oct. 29
4:21 p.m.
A student reported fraudulent charges of $960 on his credit card. The student had his card, and stated someone must have obtained the number, as he has never been to a Wal-Mart.
9:15 p.m.
A student reported the front tire of his bike was stolen from the bike rack outside of the Egan Research Center. The student had secured the bike with a cable lock but did not secure the front wheel.
Wednesday, Oct. 30
8:50 a.m.
The associate director of Campus Recreation reported a male sitting in the first floor of the Marino Center. He stated the male had been removed from the premises the previous Friday. Officers spoke to the man, who became uncooperative and was escorted from the premises.
2:12 p.m.
ResLife staff reported finding drug paraphernalia while conducting health and safety inspections at 335 Huntington Ave.
Thursday, Oct. 31
12:02 p.m.
A student reported that she lost her Husky Card inside CVS Pharmacy on Massachusetts Avenue on Monday Oct. 28, and since noticed purchases had been made on her card. The card was cancelled.
8:05 p.m.
A student reported his unattended cellphone was stolen from the Marino Center.
8:56 p.m.
A RA in Stetson East reported a male passed out in the shower area. Officers spoke to the male, who is not affiliated with Northeastern, and was conscious and alert. He was visiting a student. He admitted to having a few drinks earlier in the evening, and then falling asleep in the shower. The guest was allowed to remain overnight, and planned to leave for New York City in the morning.
11:01 p.m.
A student reported her friend, also a student, was passing out on the footbridge in the Fens near the Museum of Fine Arts. Officers found the underage student unable to walk. The student was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
11:20 p.m.
An RA in 311 Huntington Ave. would not cooperate with housing staff. Officers reported the students were identified and Housing will handle the matter internally.
Friday, Nov. 1
2:48 p.m.
A student reported that she accidentally left her black iPhone with a case that had dogs on the back in Dodge Hall and when she returned it was gone. The student states she tracked the phone to the Behrakis Health Science Center but lost the signal between the Behrakis Health Sciences Center and West Campus.
3:36 p.m.
A student reported his black backpack containing clothes, cleats, sunglasses and a white iPhone was stolen from Parsons Field.
11:54 p.m.
A proctor in West Village A reported a female student who was locked out of the building was threatening to punch him in the face. Officers responded and reported the student left the area prior to their arrival. The proctor was instructed to call operations if the student returned.
Saturday, Nov 2
12:16 a.m.
Staff reported a male and female dragging a drunk female on Columbus Avenue. Officers responded and reported speaking with the student, who was found to be conscious and alert. Her boyfriend agreed to watch her for the night.
12:28 a.m.
A student reported loud drum playing on the second or third floor of Douglass Park. Officers spoke to a resident who is not affiliated with Northeastern and agreed to stop playing his drums for the night.
12:47 a.m.
A proctor in Davenport Commons B reported a drunk man in the lobby with a laceration to his chin. Officers reported the man was conscious but not alert. The man was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
12:49 a.m.
A resident of 120 Hemenway St. reported loud music coming from the fourth floor. Officers spoke to a student resident, who agreed to turn down the music for the night.
12:57 a.m.
Officers requested Boston Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for a Berklee College of Music student who was intoxicated. Officers reported the male was conscious but not alert, and the student was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
1:06 a.m.
A proctor in Speare Hall reported a drunk man walking in the lobby. Officers responded and reported the underage student was conscious but only semi-alert. Boston EMS transported the student to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
1:31 a.m.
A student in West Village E reported hearing a loud argument between a man and woman. Officers spoke to a female student, who was fighting with her boyfriend. The boyfriend reported that the female had hit him with her open hands and he had visible bruising on his neck. Officers placed the female into custody for domestic assault and battery.
11:16 p.m.
A student reported his roommate was drunk and lying in a puddle of vomit. Officers reported the underage student was not alert and unable to walk. Boston EMS responded and transported the student to Boston Medical Center.
Sunday, Nov. 3
12:42 a.m.
BPD requested assistance on Warwick Street for a loud party involving members of the Northeastern baseball team. Officers reported the party had been cleared by BPD, who just wanted to make Northeastern’s public safety division (NUPD) aware that they had responded to this location numerous times for parties.
1:10 a.m.
A student reported his friend was drunk and semi-alert. Officers confirmed the student was drunk, and the student was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center by Boston EMS.
2:03 a.m.
A proctor in Kennedy Hall reported a drunk female in the lobby. Officers spoke to the student, who was conscious and alert and did not require medical attention.
2:45 p.m.
A Chartwells employee reported her iPhone was stolen from the front desk of the International Village dining hall. Officers reported the phone has tracking software and the employee was able to track it to Shawmut Avenue. The phone had since been turned off.
3:28 p.m.
A student reported his wallet and iPhone 5 were stolen from the Marino Center earlier in the day. The wallet contained a debit card, $20 cash and a driver’s license.
8:20 p.m.
A student reported his wallet was stolen while he was in Chinatown earlier in the evening. The student was instructed to also file a report with BPD.
