TD Garden announced the dates for the 2026 Men’s and Women’s Beanpot Championship tournament in an Instagram post Dec. 8.
On the women’s side, the semifinals will take place at Boston University Tuesday, Jan. 13. The Huskies will take on the Terriers at 7:30 p.m.
The championship and consolation games at TD Garden will be Tuesday, Jan. 20. The third-place fight will begin at 4:30 p.m., and the battle for the title will be at 7:30 p.m.
Last year, the Huskies brought home the title for the third consecutive year, defeating Boston University 4-0.
General ticket sales are available now on Ticketmaster. Student tickets will become available for purchase closer to the tournament.
For the men’s tournament, the semifinal matchup will be Monday, Feb. 2, between Northeastern and BU and Harvard University and Boston College. The latter teams will play first at 5 p.m., according to an Instagram post from BC. There has been no confirmed time for Northeastern and BU’s matchup, but it will most likely be at 8 p.m.
The teams will fight for the consolation and championship title Monday, Feb. 9.
The general ticket sale will open Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. Similar to the women’s side, student tickets will open closer to the puck drop.
Last year, Northeastern fell from the reigning champions to last place, losing against BC 8-2, then to Harvard 4-3.
The Huskies later bounced back in the Hockey East tournament, beating BC at home 3-1 and advancing to the quarterfinals.
